This guide is designed to give you the most accurate description for all demo skis and bikes. Every ski and bike is given a FULL tune and a thorough cleaning before it is labeled with a condition listed below, this is to ensure every defect and blemish is detected. We have three condition categories; Like New,Good, and Fair. The difference between the descriptions is purely cosmetic and will not affect the performance or life of the equipment.
Like New
Like new bikes have been used but show almost no cosmetic wear. These bikes have been ridden approximately less than 10 times and will perform as new. Bikes listed in this category are a great value because they look great and don’t break the bank.
Like New skis and snowboards may have only been ridden a couple times and the bases look like they're fresh out of the packaging.
Good
Good condition bikes will have minor noticeable damages like scratches, worn grips, and small paint chips. These blemishes do not affect the performance of the bike and will not shorten the bike’s life but they do affect the price!
Good skis and snowboards will still perform very well but you may see some more topsheet scratches and the base and edges will have a little bit more wear.
Fair
Fair condition bikes can have noticeable chipped paint, more scratches, and just a little more wear and tear. The damage caused by use will not have an effect on the performance of the bike and will not shorten the bike’s life. If you don’t need a perfect paint job and can deal with a little wear and tear, you will love the bike you get for the money.
Fair condition skis and snowboards have seen better days. The ski or board will still perform great but, the topsheet will have more scratches or chips and the base and edges will have more wear.
